1697 Grimaldi Harpsichord
I've been wanting to build a "from scratch" instrument for quite a while so ... here it is. I've used a combination of Zuckermann and Nuremberg Museum plans. Lumber and hardware was obtained from local suppliers and the legs (Black Walnut) were turned by a local craftsman. Stay tuned for photos of the keyboard, soundboard, jack and jack register constuction, as well as, the final trim and finishing stages.
