The Large Zuckermann Clavichord

I have finished the case construction of the instrument and am now waiting for the cold winter months to arrive in order to build and install the sound board (complete with custom gilded roses). I like to do this when conditions are driest!

The only difference between this and the standard Zuckermann kit instrument (so far) is that I've included dowel reinforcement, imitating the dovetail joint effect of interlocking sections. I doubt that this will affect the overall sound of the instrument but it makes me happier.

The finished instrument will involve some veneering or painting or both.
